Beverley O’Neil

Ktunaxa First Nation

The wheels for stand-up comedy started spinning when Beverley got out of a speeding ticket by telling a joke. A seasoned comedian and accomplished business speaker and facilitator, her first ‘official’ stand-up comedy was over 10 years ago covering the quirks of being a Ktunaxa First Nation person with mixed ancestry, of aging and the troubles of being raised by an Irish dad who wanted sons. Since then she’s toured, featured, emceed, and competed in several events reaching the semi-finals and even winning Vancouver local comedy competition Stage Fright.
