Though now living in Ottawa, the family members grew up on “The Hill,” one of Truro’s African Nova Scotian communities and are also closely related to the Marsman and Clyke families. The twins loved hiking through Victoria Park and eating Murphy’s Fish and Chips growing up and attended the Alice and Douglas Street Schools. They also have family not far away in Sipekne'katik First Nation.
